Testing & Commissioning Manager

OVERVIEW: A Testing & Commissioning Manager in the construction industry is responsible for overseeing the final stages of a project, ensuring that all systems are thoroughly tested, commissioned, and ready for operation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To oversee, manage and direct the T&C activities in a safe and efficient way from the beginning to the end,
• To review and monitor the T&C activity in depth, ensure schedule of all deliverables, budget, planning and cost estimating
• To write the T&C procedure and prepare the site activities, identifying the risks and issues
• To plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones – To ensure the tools, plants, materials and equipment are suitable and available for the job
• To follow-up and manage suppliers or sub-contractor’s activities on the site, dealing with project issues, changes, risk and quality
• To ensure that Quality process, and SHE requirement are known and enforced within the team and sub-contractors.
• Take part in promoting the safety and quality initiatives among the project team
• To train and give feedback to T&C team and sub-contractors –
• To report the progress and the risks to the project management, and prepare internal and external reports pertaining to the job status Job Requirements Educational
• Support the Project Manager to carry out the representativeness of the Company in front of the Client, in all commercial aspects when required
• Walkdown systems and validate construction to commissioning turnover acceptance.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• 10+ years minimum of relevant work experience managing multiple construction projects is required.
• Time Management – organized, set priorities, meet deadlines, multi-task and a Team player.
• Ability to be reasonably on-call as necessary to support the ongoing 24/7 operations of our clients which may include evenings, weekends and some holidays.
• Proficient in coordinating and integrating various systems to ensure functionality during testing and commissioning processes and client satisfaction.
• Bachelor’s in Civil or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or relevant.
