Senior HVAC Engineer

OVERVIEW: A Senior HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Engineer in the construction industry is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of HVAC systems within construction projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• To design the HVAC system as per the requirements mentioned in the proposal through various stages like designing, fabricating, and testing
• To apply the technical expertise and knowledge that will support the designing, manufacturing, testing, and troubleshooting and help in better delivery of the HVAC system
• To make an active contribution in the research and development efforts by understanding the HVAC advances that will match with the emerging technologies
• To be accountable for the specification of sheet metal layout, components and the fabrication approaches
• To monitor the execution of the developmental efforts and think of innovative ideas to build and design the HVAC system within the given budget and time
• To assist in the preparation of the performance of the equipment specification and data
• Design and provide enhancements to all conservation programs for electricity and natural gas and assist to plant instrument and perform troubleshoot on equipment and ensure compliance to all EPA regulations.
• Monitor all resources and ensure optimal utilization for same and achieve all customer objectives and provide support to all equipment and perform calculations and implement various plans for HVAC.
• Evaluate all approval systems for new and revised maintenance jobs and monitor all work instructions and maintain all deliverables for projects to maintain optimal qualities within required timeframe and coordinate with stakeholders to analyze all project requirements.
• Perform audit on all HVAC system and collect data and perform periodic evaluation and monitor all log books and manage all change processes and resolve all issues.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to perform regular audit and ensure compliance to all corporate regulations and assist to design an efficient HVAC system and adhere to all architectural requirements.
• Analyze all load programs and perform required calculations on same and manage all electrical requirements for HVAC equipment and recommend improvements.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• 10+ years minimum of relevant work experience managing multiple construction projects is required.
• Time Management – organized, set priorities, meet deadlines, multi-task and a Team player.
• Ability to be reasonably on-call as necessary to support the ongoing 24/7 operations of our clients which may include evenings, weekends and some holidays.
• Exceptional expertise in utilizing advanced HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP) to efficiently and accurately design HVAC systems.
